“Every tourist to Berlin should seriously consider doing this tour to gain some understanding of what the people of Berlin have experienced. Kyle was our fabulous guide and she shared so much historical and anecdotal information. It was 4 hours very well spent.”

“Sarah was a guide for a small group of us doing the East Berlin tour. She is incredibly knowledgeable, amiable, and her enthusiasm for and interest in the city of Berlin and its history was infectious. The tour took us to parts of the Wall that I would not have known to seek out myself, and she pointed out now unseen markers of how the city was once divided - while also giving excellent recommendations of media sources we could check out if we wanted to know more. I would certainly take another tour with her, and with Original Berlin walks!”

“Really enjoyed this tour with Lyndsey. Gave us a great insight into life behind the wall and the history of how and why it went up and it’s ultimate demise in 1989. Lyndsey really brought it to life with real life stories and informative history. We visited many sights and locations we would have missed during our time in Berlin without booking on the tour. Excellent value for money - would highly recommend!”

“Our guide , Caroline, really knew her stuff. The tour was interesting, 3rd time in Berlin & learned loads I didn’t know. I found the story about the ghost stations fascinating, and the view over the remains of the wall really gave an insight. I thought it was well worth the money & would totally recommend this tour.”

“Our guide Sam was excellent. He gave us very informative explanations and opinions about the history of Berlin. He had a great sense of humour as well as a serious side when explaining some of Berlins dark history. We all learned a lot and had a great time.
He stayed late, on his own time, to answer questions and help us tourists with advice on food and entertainment etc.”

“We did this walk on October 24 with Xavier. This was our third walk with the company, and it was probably the best. Xavier regaled us with anecdotes to liven up the sometimes grim history, paced the walk well for a somewhat assorted group, and answered all of the questions we raised. His grasp of the subject was excellent, and his manner was delightful. Highly recommended.”
